BMS Upgrade at The Lowry

HFL Building Solutions has been awarded a £250,000 BMS upgrade incorporating the BMS maintenance at the prestigious Lowry, Salford Quays, Manchester. This is in addition to the HVAC maintenance contract that HFL Building Solutions have managed on behalf of The Lowry since 2006.

The project includes system design, project management, new panel installations, controllers and software upgrades enabling greater efficiency in controlling all areas of the building. This is especially in the galleries where original works of art are exhibited and humidity must be kept at a constant to preserve the delicate art works.

To enable the Lowry to afford the very much needed upgrade HFL Building Solutions are financing the project over a five year period.

During the five year financing period HFL Building Solutions will maintain the BMS System, which will incorporate providing Energy reports and working closely with the Lowry to reduce their energy consumption.
